There’s so much to do in the Atlanta area, so we wanted to bring you some ideas that may be a little off the beaten track. Enjoy! If you visit any of these places, please give us your review. If you visit during BELONG weekend (November 18-19) we might just see you there.

Get Your Skates On. Throw way back (just don’t throw out your back) by taking your girlfriends to the skating rink. The All American Skating Center offers Saturday night DJs, concessions, and is home of the Atlanta Roller Girls. Choose your own Derby name for extra points!

Want Fries with That? Catch a Dueling Piano Show at 37 Main- A Rock Café in nearby Johns Creek, AL. Specializing in live music and good food, this the perfect place if you prefer your piano with a side of soul (food).

Aim High. After Angela Davis has inspired you to new physical fitness heights, try Adrenaline Climbing. Anyone with any level of expertise is welcome to try out their climbing chops.

Admire Nature. Country Gardens calls Atlanta Botanical Garden one of their “20 All-Time Favorite Public Gardens” and the weather should make for a comfortable stroll through the flowers and art.

Explore History. Take the Civil Rights & Beyond Tour to visit the birthplace of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Ebenezer Baptist Church, the Atlanta University Center, Hammonds House Galleries, and much, much more.
